We truly believe that we have some of the very best people in our industry working here. So it’s only right that we recognise that talent. And how do we do that? By sending our top performers on an all-expenses-paid holiday to Las Vegas, of course. (Via a game of Blockbusters and a Bake Off, naturally.)

This is our Hall of Fame. It’s a competition that happens every year, where people nominate the colleagues they believe to be living our values the best. And that could be anyone, from anywhere, in any job. Retail or Store Support.

If you get picked, you could be whisked off to a Regional Final – or, you could go straight into the Grand Final; two days of activities where you’re treated like a champion.

It’s an opportunity to meet colleagues from every brand, department and country. You’ll mix with suppliers and senior leaders. You’ll challenge yourself, work together, laugh at management (always a bonus) and, fingers crossed, be crowned one of our winners!

It’s all good natured. And it’s all fun. But we do take it seriously. It’s the expertise and passion of our people that sets us apart from anywhere else on the high street. People like Sam. And people like Aisling.

Sam Goodman

Double award winner. Record breaker. BFF.

To be the first person to win Hall of Fame twice feels incredible. I won Supervisor of the Year after only three months in the job. A year later, I picked up the prize for Manager of the Year. The first time round, all the winners were taken to New York – with no expenses spared. The next year, we jetted off to Las Vegas. It was just unbelievable. Limousine rides, zip lining, helicopter trips into the Grand Canyon, Caesars Palace… we did so much. It makes you feel so valued. And it’s great to work for someone who recognises how hard you work. If you put it in, you will get it out.

Meet our lovely Supervisor of the Year

I didn’t think I had a hope of winning. I really, really wanted it… but I didn’t think I’d get it. I was in the middle of moving stores at the time (from Arthur’s Quay in Limerick to East Kilbride in Scotland), so I didn’t have a real opportunity to swot up! But I quickly found Hall of Fame isn’t all about what you know – it’s about having a personality as well. That’s the most important thing. It feels great to be recognised – but I’m still kind of in shock! And Las Vegas will be a whole new experience for me. I can’t wait.
